Live screening in Zzana region during world cupLive screening in Zzana region during world cupSports Friends International - Uganda seeks to impact eternity and grow God's Kingdom in and through the platform of sports and related activities. The impact has been and is huge than words can express.

On behalf of Sports Friends and my family, I wish to thank you so much for your continued support that has helped us achieve our goals in building of His Kingdom.

We too continue to pray for you, family, ministry and organisation. God alone deserve the praise for His unwavering Love, grace, protection and provision that has brought us this far.

This year we started with great moment and anticipation to what the Lord was going to do in and through us during the World Cup of Soccer 2010.

Trainees in Masaka region to follow up World cup programsTrainees in Masaka region to follow up World cup programsOur programs were spread in 10 (ten) regions/villages and communities that formed "Decapolis" (Ten
Cities/town) as stated in Mark 5:20 "And he departed and began to proclaim in Decapolis all that Jesus had done for
him; and all marveled."

This program offered us a great opportunity in Uganda to use the thrill and fuss of world cup to reach young people with the Gospel and life skills in our communities. - The Ultimate Goal FIFA 2010 - Project Decapolis.

These are the ten regions we worked in Uganda; Masaka, Masindi, Suburbs of Kampala, Nakaseke, Kakuba, Mutungo, Zzana, Bethany Island, Gulu and Bombo.

Regions were selected following simple guidelines such as willingness of people to host and follow up the programs in the community, Churches accepting to work together with the intention to reach Children among others.

Programs included; KidsGames, Community outreaches, Soccer crusade, Big Screen(viewing the world cup live on Screens), Training of Children Workers and church leaders. We established four (4) new Sports Teams that we follow up on the programs.
