Partnerships and Networks

Sports Friends has remained active on both the local and international scene, as part of partnerships and networks of like-minded individuals and agencies involved in similar work.

Sports Friends International is part of the International Sports Coalition and umbrella network bringing together over 121 countries and several sports ministry organization and enjoys an amicable relationship with the Ministry of Education and Sports in Uganda.

SFI is an active member of the society and has participated in several clusters, programs and led initiatives during the recent hunger in Eastern Uganda, notably the Trauma counseling among the Internally Displaced peoples Camps in Northern Uganda, The Land slide in Bududda and several other programs, such as fumigation, well constructions, farming as for sustainable development.

Further SFI was and is still part of the team that designs and implemented the psychosocial response for families and children affected by HIV/AIDS, and other social and health vices.
