Now is the time - Big Time!

Having the World Cup in Africa - SouthAfrica is such a great thing to us. We have organized ministry before, during and after the world in Uganda to use the very same thrust and thrill that the World Cup of Soccer has brought to us in Uganda as we speak now.

When the Brazilian Team visited on us last year in summer, we realized how great an impact can be created in the lives of Ugandans; Young people and communities using the game.

I kindly request you participation in any area(s) as you can. May be you have friends who have some of the resources that we are looking for to make this program a success, A church mission team can come and help for a short term, support and funds needed.

Big Screening: the World cup in the rural areas, through which we shall preach the gospel to the masses that will come to watch. Here we shall have to hire a Generator, Satellite dishes, screens(canvas) and data projectors. (May be your church has one it is no longer using, that can be used or easily fixed)

Soccer Clinics: Soccer balls, Cones, pumps and Whistles. Here we target young people in hundreds to be part of the Ubabalo.

Coaches Training: We want to train 100 key Ubabalo coaches in these new regions, i.e, 10 in each region. into 15 soccer skills and life values.

Sports Ministry and Church Leaders Training: We intend to train 400 leaders and 100 pastor and 340 youth Leaders that will continue with the program. This is part of the followup and follow-through plan for the continuity of the programs. in each region, we shall have established a teen Club that will continue with the program and hold TeenGames in September i.e. 10 TeenGames Community shall be involved through our partners that are coming along side this program to help in distribution of mosquito nets in the fight against Malaria, and conduct HIV/AIDS sensitization.

We intend to hold 5 KidsGames to help in community programs Early December. Two young leaders in each region shall be selected to attend the sports and leadership Camp in August.
